Privacy Policy Cookie Policy Booking Terms

1. Data controller

Giulia e Lorenzo Mancini, with registered office at Vicolo del Cinque 14 · 00153 Roma RM, national identification code CIN IT058091B4G9X2RT8.

For any request regarding the processing of personal data, you may contact us at privacy@trastevere-spaces.it or via certified email (PEC) at trastevere-spaces@pec.it.

2. Data collected and purposes

We collect the personal data you provide directly when you:

  • Make a booking (first and last name, email, phone, stay dates) — to manage the booking and fulfil the legal obligation to report guests to the Police authorities.
  • Contact us by email, phone or WhatsApp — to respond to your enquiries.
  • Visit our website — certain technical data (IP address, browser type, pages visited) is collected anonymously, subject to consent, through the analytics tools described in our Cookie Policy.

The legal basis for processing is the performance of the accommodation contract (Art. 6.1.b GDPR) and the legitimate interest in improving the website (Art. 6.1.f GDPR) for technical data.

3. Data retention

We retain booking data for as long as necessary to manage your stay and to meet legal obligations (10 years for invoices; within the legal deadline for the report to the Police authorities via the Alloggiati Web portal). Data collected by technical means is aggregated and anonymised within 30 days.

4. Disclosure of data

Your data is neither disclosed nor sold to third parties for commercial purposes. It may be shared, strictly to the extent necessary, with:

  • public security authorities (Police), for the mandatory reporting of guests;
  • the municipal administration, for tourist tax reporting;
  • technical providers (hosting, website management) appointed as data processors under Art. 28 GDPR.

5. Your rights

Under Articles 15-22 of the GDPR, you have the right to:

  • request access to your personal data;
  • request its rectification or erasure;
  • request restriction of processing;
  • object to processing and withdraw consent at any time;
  • lodge a complaint with the Italian Data Protection Authority (www.garanteprivacy.it).

To exercise these rights, please write to privacy@trastevere-spaces.it.

6. Processing of the IP address for language detection

When you access our website, Cloudflare — the infrastructure provider hosting the site — derives the country code of your origin from your IP address, on a strictly transient basis on its own servers, solely to allow us to suggest the version of the site in the language most likely consistent with your origin.

This is a non-binding suggestion: you may ignore it, dismiss it or change language freely at any time through the selector in the header and footer of the site. No automatic redirection is performed.

The IP address is not stored by us, nor shared with third parties. What we receive is only the country code (e.g. "FR" for France), which is used for the duration of your session and then discarded. Your language choice, if you decide to change it, is stored locally in your browser via localStorage (no cookie is installed for this functionality).

Legal basis: the controller's legitimate interest under Art. 6(1)(f) of Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR) — improving the user experience by immediately presenting content in the most appropriate language.

You may object to this processing at any time, under Art. 21 GDPR, by contacting us at privacy@trastevere-spaces.it.
